This is a quick message to all (potential) developers interested in Transdroid: the main code base, including the Android app and the Torrent Connect library, have been moved to the Mercurial source control system. This will make it much easier to fork and contribute to the project.
Get your hg tool out and: hg clone https://code.google.com/p/transdroid/
Note, too, that both the android and lib projects as well as the required external ActionBarSherlock library are now in the default repository. Want to read more about contributing to the project? Read our code contributions wiki page.
Isn’t it time for a new release soon? It’s been broken with the latest Transmission for quite some time now. I found the beta release so I’m ok, but perhaps it would be easier to find the solution to this if you didn’t have to try the beta.
For me it crashes with Transmission 2.42-daht2 ONLY when there is a torrent in status “queued” so I guess it is some sort of unhandled/unexpected data perhaps?
Try the 1.1.0 beta, as available on the Google Code site.
Absolutely. This is actually part of the process towards more regular releases again, where bugfixes are not stalled due to new features (the tablet interface, in this case).
I’m working on it and probably get some help soon too, so a new release can be expected within a few weeks.
Truly when someone doesn’t understand then its up to other visitors that they will assist,
so here it happens.
I’m extremely impressed with your writing skills and also
with the layout on your weblog. Is this a paid theme
or did you customize it yourself? Anyway keep up the excellent quality writing,
it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one today.
